Currently, Shirdi Airport has direct flights to three major cities in India: Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad

The airport is undergoing expansion to accommodate international flights

The runway is being extended to 3,200 meters, and a new terminal is being constructed. The expansion is expected to be completed by 2025.

Once the expansion is complete, Shirdi Airport will be able to handle direct international flights from countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and Thailand

Significance of Shirdi Airport
